NHSH Waitlist Application
Thank you for your interest in a North Haven Sustainable Housing rental!
Before you apply, please consider:
Year-Round Residency: At least one household member must have been a full-time resident of North Haven, Maine for the past 12 consecutive months (for teachers or school staff, the most recent academic year).
NHSH rental units have income restrictions at or below 120% or 200% of the area median income, depending on the unit.
Household size requirements:
Studio & 1-bedroom units: Maximum of two (2) persons.
2-bedroom units: Minimum of two (2) persons, maximum of four (4) persons.
3-bedroom units: Minimum of three (3) persons, maximum of six (6) persons.
The household size you apply with is the household size that will be considered for occupancy. Household size cannot be adjusted after being placed on the waitlist.
Applications are accepted on a rolling basis, and eligible applicants will be placed on the NHSH Master Waiting List.
Household income certification with acceptable documentation is required for all applicants and must be re-submitted annually for lease renewal. Rent is based on household income.
A waitlist will be maintained for at least two years if the number of eligible applicants exceeds available units.
